The MJA Company ("we", "us") operates themja.com. This page explains what we collect and how we use it. We keep it short because that's how we'd want it explained to us.
What we collect
When you fill out a form on this site we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email address, property address, and details about your home or what you're looking for. We also collect the basic technical information any website receives, like your browser type and the pages you visit, through analytics tools.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, prepare a home valuation or home search, and follow up with you by phone, text, or email. If you submit a form, you're agreeing that we may contact you those ways. Message and data rates may apply to texts. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, clicking unsubscribe in an email, or telling us directly.
Who sees it
Your information goes into our customer relationship system (Follow Up Boss) and is seen by The MJA Company team members who help with your request. We use service providers to run this website (Netlify), estimate home values (RentCast), and suggest addresses (Google). They process data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other brokerages or lead-selling services.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact information as long as you're a client or prospective client and for as long as Michigan real estate record-keeping rules require after a transaction. Ask us and we'll delete what we're not required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask what we have on file, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@themja.com or call (248) 780-8944.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement to understand how people find and use the site. These set cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
Children
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
